• Change in partnershipThe monitoring committee has approved the drop out of Kristiansand Kommune (KK) as a First Motion project partner. With the beginning of the second reporting period the University of Agder (UiA) has taken over KK’s former budget and activities. In addition both partners agreed that the UiA will also employ the personnel currently employed by KK ensuring continuity and knowledge to stay with the project.  “This change in the partner set-up was wanted by all parties involved”, explains project manager Till Hardy. “As both partners are located in the same region and worked closely together in their activities, now processes are streamlined, because internal coordination is simplified.” So UiA has taken over full responsibility for the Norwegian partnership within the EU-funded regional development project, although representatives from the KK will remain in First Motion’s transnational steering committee.        more
