Retrospective:
“It’s a wrap” for PEIPSI
Marc Brummund finished the first filming trip of his crossmedia documentary project PEIPSI which is dealing with today’s everyday life of the Russian Old-Believers in Eastern Estonia. The team from Hamburg consists of freelance director Marc Brummund, DOP Bettina Herzner, Rene Fischer (partner at the advertising agency The Matter) and their supporters Katerina Hitruhhina and Mairi Hüüdma from Tallinn. Together they travelled to Lake Peipsi for exploring the area and getting into contact with people, as well as shooting and filming their first impressions. Further trips are planned for the beginning of October and winter 2010/2011.

Please find PEIPSI’s blog documenting the team’s experiences on location here.
